This blog was created for the sole purpose of documenting and tracking daily day trading techniques and progress. In the past, my trading style was mostly swing trading. However, I am now adding on daily scalps, trading short and long.

Note on setting daily goals: Better to trade with the market rather than setting daily goals. I am finding that on sideways days and days that I really don't like the market activity, it's best to just stay put (there's nothing wrong with sitting out and waiting for better opportunities.....cash is always good and hasty goal induced decisions/losses are not!)

Chat Rooms

So can you make money by joining various chat rooms?

I have joined three chat rooms and will be documenting my successes in from each room. I have set up 3 different trading accounts for this purpose.

YAKGROUP (http://omgyak.com/)

This group is lead by trader Yak. Unlike other chats, in this room, he is the ONLY person speaking and gives instructions on his entries and exits via live displayed charts. This group trades four days a week (M-Th) from 9 am to noon. If you follow his steps to 100%, there's the opportunity to make on average $500-$1500 daily taking long and short scalps on big board stocks.

BullsonWallStreet (http://bullsonwallstreet.com/)

I found this group on twitter after successfully making profits off of the site's moderator Kunal100's tweets. They basically trade small caps with momentum. I am still getting use to navigating around in the chatroom.

StockSeasonality (http://stockseasonality.net/)

This chat room is a spin off from ihub's Wealth University and Stock seasonality boards with Chartinator and Ken Goodrich. The stocks traded here tend to be chart based swing trades. I joined this group in 2010 and have made profits on just about every alert that I've traded.

All three of these groups have different styles in trading methods and all three from what I've seen have had excellent results and worth the subscription rates.
